Rocket Raccoon is drinking and celebrating in a bar as he prepares to tell a story called Rocket Raccoon Kills the Marvel Universe. Iron Man shows up to the a meeting of the Illuminati in the Necropolis where they are keeping Thanos and Proxima Midnight who are preserved in the amber cube left by Thane, Thanos’ son. Iron Man asks if Reed can use his powers to pleasure his wife and then attacks the Illuminati because Rocket Raccoon is in the suit that he modded and we get a brief montage of ideas like a Rocket Raccoon version of the Regular show which would be better than the actual Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon based on what I head.
Namor asks what is up and Rocket reveals that because he snuck cameras to follow Iron Man around apparently, he found they have Thanos which pisses him off. So he sends Gamora who beats the heck out of Iron Man and the Rocket fixes the armor. He uses one of the weapons to I guess blast apart the base and Black Panther is like – why did you do this alone, but that’s when Starlord, Drax, Gamora, Groot and Angela show up.
The Illuminati try to get them to stop, Rocket summarizes the battle dialogue which is a decent bit while Rocket unfreezes Thanos and Proxima. Thanos is intrigued on why they freed him and Starlord is like “we’re the Guardians of the Galaxy and the rest of the galaxy is sick of you” and that is when Gladiator, Annihilus, the Brood Queen, Beta Ray Bill, Ronan and Starbolt, who is also a member of the Shi’Ar Imperial Guard shows up and they all presumably killed Thanos which is why everyone is partying.
And then Rocket reveals that Starlord also has decided to prevent people from Earth from leaving the planet or else he will kill them.
